Brief

Commissioned by Zipline to create a demonstrative film showcasing their groundbreaking drone delivery service fpr their website. The challenge was to develop a distinctive visual aesthetic that clearly communicated the full delivery process-  from parcel collection to seamless autonomous delivery, while heroing the innovation and sophistication of the technology itself.

Insight

Working closely with Zipline, we immersed ourselves in the practical functionality and behaviour of the drone system to ensure every movement and interaction felt authentic. This included understanding how the drone docked, collected and released parcels, and navigated through the air. Visually, we explored a range of creative directions before landing on a hyper-real aesthetic that balanced technical clarity with cinematic engagement, allowing the product and its functionality to remain the focus throughout.

Solution

‍Created a fluid, seamless animation that followed the complete delivery journey from collection through to final drop-off. Careful attention was given to realistic timings, accurate motion behaviour, and the integration of bespoke, aspirational environments that elevated the experience visually while remaining grounded in the practical realities of the service. The result was a polished demonstrative film that felt innovative, precise, and effortlessly intuitive.
